South Lagoon - Wyboston
The South Lagoon is a 20 acre former gravel pit located on the Wyboston Lakes complex on the A1 close to St Neots. This venue has good disabled access with parking very close to the pegs.
The lake is a great venue for predator anglers with large Pike and Zander regularly caught.
The lake is home to most species of fish with Bream to double figures and if you hit a shoal bags of 100lb plus have been reported. There are also Tench to 10lb+, Perch to 4lb, Roach of 1-2lb, Pike to 32lb, Zander to 16lb+.Carp to 40lb+,
The biggest reported carp currently stands at 41lb 2oz caught in September 2021 by Ethan Griffiths.
Members or Day Ticket Anglers may fish any numbered swim round the southern end of the lagoon to the river inlet. (Overhead Power Line Warnings MUST be obeyed).

The South Lagoon is open all year round. Night Fishing is permitted for club members and on a day/night ticket for non members. No Pre Booking is necessary for Night Fishing on the South Lagoon.

NOTE:Under 16 Year Olds MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times whilst at the venue.
How do I get a Day Ticket??
Just arrive at the venue choose a swim and start fishing. Our club bailiffs will patrol the water regularly and will collect your money and issue you with a day/night ticket.
Three Rods may be used by Club members with a 3rd Rod Upgrade. Non Members and Club Members without a permit can purchase a day ticket at 50% cost of the day ticket price to cover a 3rd rod.
NOTE THERE ARE NO TOILET FACILITIES AT THIS VENUE - PLEASE COME PREPARED WITH A BAG OR BUCKET! AND DISPOSE OF IT CAREFULLY! NOT IN THE BUSHES!!!!!
ANY MEMBER OR DAY TICKET ANGLER LEAVING LITTER WILL BE BANNED FROM THE VENUE
ALL LUTON AC WATERS ARE CATCH AND RELEASE - ALL FISH MUST BE RETURNED TO THE WATER. REMOVAL OF FISH FROM OUR VENUES IS THEFT AND POLICE WILL BE CALLED IF YOU ARE CAUGHT TAKING FISH
